Physiotherapist profiles
Ann Mallinson - Ann qualified from Manchester Royal Infirmary as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 1981, and worked in a Private Practice since 1990. Ann became the owner of Steina in september 2001 after 8 months travelling in Australia and the Far East. Ann has also completed the MACP weekend courses, as well as courses in spinal manipulation beginners and advanced, acupuncture, muscle imbalance and sports rehabilitation. In 2000 Ann also completed an Open University degree in Geography and the Environment.
Tricia Newbold - Tricia qualified as a chartered physiotherapist in 1983 from the Royal Liverpool Hospital and after working in the NHS at Ormskirk Hospital she left to start a family. She returned to work at Ormskirk and at Steina on a part time basis and has worked at the clinic since it first opened in october 1989.
Helen Cooper - Helen qualified in 1995 from the Brunel University College, Middlesex and started working at Steina on a part time basis two years later. Helen has also completed the MACP course as well as a diploma in injection therapy and is currently undertaking MSc in physiotherapy at Manchester University. Helen is also the chairperson of the Northern branch of the MACP as well as a senior physiotherapist at St Helens and Knowsley Trust.
